Improvisation
For this assignment, I came up with a Native American Pow-Wow dancer and a tree man growing out of the ground. I tried making it out of clay, but the clay kept cracking when it was drying out, so I decided to make it out of paper mache, which works better, I think. These are the early stages of the tree dancer. The pictures below are of the finished piece which as inspired by Buffy Sainte Marie's Pow wow singing style This is my finished Pow-wow dancer come treeman, I finished it while listening to \buffy sainte marie singing Starwalker,and other medicine songs.
